PUTTING YOUR TIME, TALENT AND TREASURE TO WORK 

Nativity HSA (Home and School Association) is designed to support the school through building a strong community and augment the school with fundraising. 

For the 2012-2013 school year, H.S.A. will focus on the following three objectives, listed in priority order:


1. Fundraising
  • Oktoberfest - Our largest fundraiser of the year is September 8th
  • Scrip
  • Beer & Wine Event
  • Boxtop
  • Consumables
2. Strengthen our school community
  • Create an environment that students, staff and families will enjoy and have fun.
  • Enhance School Spirit
  • Leverage the sense of community that a small catholic school provides.
  • Celebrate with community building events.
3. Foster Strong School/Parish Relationship
  • Cultivate a deeper level of commitment to Nativity School with existing Nativity parishioners.

TIME, TALENT, TREASURE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Now more than ever, we need volunteer support from everyone in our Nativity School community. Without your support we will not be able to run all the wonderful activities, programs, sports and fundraising events that bring parents, teachers and students together. One of the benefits of choosing a small Catholic school for our children is the sense of community it provides. Engaging in fellowship on a regular basis enhances all of our personal relationships and offers further confirmation that Nativity is the right choice for our children. 

  • Time, Talent and Treasure Program 
    • OPTION 1:  Families commit to a minimum of 25 hours (15 hours for pre-k only families) of community service.
    • OPTION 2:  One time payment of $500
  • Volunteer opportunities are communicated through the Wednesday Envelope.     
  • Parent participation enhances the quality of the child’s experience at any school.  The community at Nativity is one of helpfulness, cooperation and faithfulness.  We work together with the faculty and staff  to make sure our children get the best education possible.
